I just signed up here after seeing this contest linked at TIGSource, where I only signed up last week.
Hope you guys don't mind me giving it a shot? Still not certain about a title though and not at all sure if I will finish it :P
But I might as well give it a shot with 3 weeks left!

I hope I can make something that is fun to play.
This challenge is coming at the right time. I have been trying to finish a simple 2d-engine in c# for ages, but always start over. Everytime I learn a bit more, but I am always thinking: hmmmz what sort of game do I want to make? I think in the end, I just want to build a nice engine, so this sort of 'contest' is a great inspiration to get a goal to finish. Especially since the time is quite short. Looking forward to it! Been writing out some game-ideas now, and I think I have 2 ideas that might work. Going to make a start this weekend.

What are the rules about making changes after the end of the pageant?

There are some things I want to try with my game. Should I keep separate pageant & post-pageant version of my games? Not worry about it and just keep updating the [DONE] version?

I don't know what the expectations are...don't want to be "cheating" :)

I've been a lazy bastard (I have the web-page on my hard disk, just needed to collect the zip files that people went and sent me together). Trying to get a game finished, which is sucking up all my time and most of my energy. New pageant on Tuesday. Will probably do everything at once then. Which isn't fully doing justice to the people that entered this one :(
